They first met in 2016, and the connection was immediate: laughter, endless conversations, a phone number exchanged. Life then went on, and each went their separate way. Two years later, in 2018, fate brought them together again, almost like in a movie. This time, they knew for sure: there was no way they would let each other go. Since then, they’ve crossed continents, spent two adventurous years in Canada, traveled the roads in a van, and most importantly, grown together. He is 1.95m tall, she is 1.53m, 45 centimeters apart, yet never any distance between them.
And it was in the heart of the Savoie mountains, under snow and sparkling lights, that they said “I do”: a winter wedding, sweet, festive, and romantic, just like them.”

Romane and Matthieu’s story began with love at first sight on a volleyball court, where a simple glance was enough to make everything clear. Since that day, they’ve walked hand in hand, sharing every step, every joy, and every dream. Always surrounded by friends and family, their happiness radiates and spreads to everyone around them. They love being together, reflecting each other, living, and creating precious moments that make their love story so beautiful.

Ils se sont rencontrés sur les réseaux sociaux. François a répondu à l’une des stories de Gabrielle avec une phrase un peu audacieuse : « D’où on a une championne d’Europe ici ? ». Le sport, évidence commune, les a immédiatement rapprochés. Leur première véritable rencontre s’est faite en courant : elle est tombée, il l’a relevée… et à cet instant précis, tous deux ont senti que quelque chose venait de naître. La suite s’est écrite avec une évidence presque insolente : sept années de vie partagée, des road trips aux quatre coins du monde, des voyages, des aventures et une multitude de souvenirs gravés à deux. Jusqu’à ce jour suspendu en Islande, au pied des montagnes, lorsque le soleil se couchait doucement, François lui a demandé de l’épouser… et elle a dit oui !
